My friend Alex sent me this yesterday, and I almost spit out my morning coffee laughing. Starting in March, Belgian fast food chain Quick will be offering three Phantom Menace-themed burgers in anticipation of another Star Wars re-release.
While disgusted, I’m also terribly amused. I get a kick out of the black “Dark Vader” bun and odd marshmallow-looking bits on the Jedi burger, but I don’t know, I just think these are too freaking bizarre to eat.
Would you try one of these? Any favorite—or least favorite—promotional foods?

Terrifying, yet inspiring. Here’s what I’m thinking:
For the Darth Vader Burger: A spicy black bean patty melt with St. Martaen pepper jack, roasted red peppers, and habanero tempeh bacon on pumpernickel.
For the Jedi Burger: chickpea patty, fried pickles, coleslaw, and remoulade on a sesame seed bun.
I’m going to have to ignore the “Dark Burger” because it’s got a prequel character behind it
I like your versions much better.
These are funny, but definitely not appetizing!
