There’s this deli near my school that’s like the U.N. of yogurt—you can find Swiss-style, Greek and even Icelandic varieties amongst your standard Light & Fit.
I just saw an ad today for Yoplait’s new Greek yogurt. I’m not a fan of Yoplait since they add gelatin to some of their yogurts, but I’m curious enough to check it out. Also on my list to try: Siggi’s Icelandic-style yogurt. I’ve been hearing so much about it and seeing so many blogs about it, I’m afraid I might get turned off (secret indie-band syndrome) before I’ve even had a chance to sample it for myself!

I just googled Siggi’s, and it looks pretty good! I am particularly intriqued by the orange & ginger flavor, and also the passion fruit and pom, if i could eat poms. I bet that’s delish.
The only reason I haven’t tried it yet is that it tends to be so much more expensive than other yogurts. At the U.N. of yogurt deli, it’s, like, $3.49 for one! One of these days, though, when I’m feeling flush with cash. I don’t know if you’ve had Icelandic yogurt before but it’s incredible. It’s fluffy and think—almost like whipped cream cheese but, you know, sweet and actually nutritious.
