Listening to my instincts has been key in most big decisions I’ve made in my life. It was my gut —and my desire to help others through my work— which led me to a career in wellness and it was my gut which signaled to me that I needed to further my career by becoming a health coach.

And I’m so glad I did.

The health coach training I’ve received has significantly improved work with my clients, has greatly amplified my skill sets as a business owner, and has opened my eyes to the myriad ways I can help people. You can read more about my why, along with advice I share with those considering a career as a health coach in this mindbodygreen article titled “This Is Why I Became A Health Coach + My Advice To Anyone Considering This Career.”

If you’re thinking about becoming a functional nutrition coach, I highly recommend signing up for mindbodygreen’s board-certified Health Coach Certification, which prepares you to apply to the HWC Certifying Examination to become a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

When you sign up, you’ll also get free access to their Functional Nutrition Coaching Program. I’m one of the practitioners who contributed to the content. This course is designed to help you determine whether a nutritional coaching career is right for you; increase the quality and depth of the service you provide your clients; add nutrition guidance to your existing fitness, wellness or counseling practice; and so much more!

As an added bonus, I’m one of the program’s faculty who occasionally does office hours session! I would absolutely love to see you in class!
