Want to upgrade your breakfast toast? Or sweet potato toast! Goat cheese has been one of my favorite foods since I learned about its existence. I love the tangy, bright flavor that pairs well with so many other things. From a nutrition standpoint, I love goat cheese because a little goes a long way so you don’t need to use a giant serving. I was inspired by this recipe while shopping in Trader Joe’s and seeing pumpkin cream cheese. It sounded like a delicious flavor combination, but I wanted something with a little more protein and without refined sugar or stabilizers.
It was almost too easy…
This Pumpkin Maple Goat Cheese spread is autumnal AF and elevates whatever you spread it on to another level. I love it with apple slices, and it’s also amazing on sprouted grain bread with a sprinkle of chia seeds and cacao nibs. Enjoy!
