Today is a really special day because my second book, The Farewell Tour: A Caregiver’s Guide To Stress Management, Sane Nutrition & Better Sleep turns one year old!

I wrote this book to honor my dad’s memory and support stressed out caregivers everywhere. I’m so deeply grateful for the opportunity to turn something so painful – watching a loved one die of a terminal illness – into a resource that can help others.

The Farewell Tour was inspired by my own experience as a caregiver and the deeply draining – emotionally and physically – experience of living such intense and painful moments in life. In addition to sharing my story, in the book I share tips for caregivers on improving sleep, simplifying routines, eating healthfully, making time to move one’s body, navigating changing relationships and preparing for your loved one’s end of life.

If you’re curious to learn more about The Farewell Tour, you’re welcome to check out these podcasts where I talk about the book:

The book also includes a playlist of songs my dad and I were listening to during the Farewell Tour months of his life, and I created a version for you to listen to on Spotify. A couple Neil Young songs are missing but all the others are there to be enjoyed and experienced.

If you or a friend are experiencing the burnout which comes with caretaking for a loved one, I encourage you to check out The Farewell Tour here. If you’ve read the book, I would truly appreciate you leaving a review.
