Do you have certain foods you used to eat all the time and then kind of forgot about? For me, kale chips is on that list. Back when I was a student, I used to eat a ton of kale chips and sandwiches. They were cheap, easy, drama-free…all things I still appreciate. Convenience and flexibility have been important for me lately, so revisiting kale chips has been a good thing. When I used to make these back in the day, I didn’t really take the time to work the olive oil into the leaves, and I also made the mistake of using the broiler instead of baking them. Needless to say, I set just about every other batch on fire. This way is a lot safer ; )
