I love iced coffee and cold brew in the summer but I don’t love paying so much for it. Blowing my hard-earned money on $5 coffees? No thank you. Besides, it usually takes more than one cup a day for me, and I just don’t want to spend $100 a week on freaking coffee. Even purchasing cold brew concentrate that you add water to can add up.
My solution? Make your own. When I realized how easy this was, I was kind of embarrassed I hadn’t thought to try it sooner. I can’t take credit for this concept, but here’s the recipe that I’ve been enjoying this summer. I purchase a reusable mesh bag for this but you can also use cheesecloth and tie it up with twine.
I like my coffee black, but feel free to add ice, your favorite milk, and any flavors or add-ins you love.
Hope you enjoy this as much as I have been!
