Hello, hello. How’s your week going so far?
I’m loving this gorgeous weather we’re having here in the northeast—Perfect weather for a lunchtime stroll! I’m also loving the wealth of local in-season produce. Last night I enjoyed a gorgeous bowl of pasta with asparagus and peas, among other greenery. Can’t expect a tiger to change her stripes now, can you?
I find that enjoying nurturing, colorful meals really helps to keep my mood steady in the midst of busy, stressful and/or emotional times. It took me a while, but I’ve learned what to pay attention to in my diet. My personal super-foods are yogurt, banana, avocado, and salmon. The way they promote serotonin levels and the efficiency at which my body processes the neurotransmitter do me a world of good.
