Wednesday came really fast this week—and so did What I Ate Wednesday. As always, thanks to Jenn for hosting the link party. To see more WIAW from other bloggers, visit Peas & Crayons.
Since I usually show you guys what I ate on a Monday, I thought I’d change things up a bit and share what I ate on Sunday, which began in Boston and ended in New York, with me trying to make sense of the random ingredients in the fridge.
One good thing about getting older and becoming someone who’s been “drinking responsibly” for more years than they spent in college doing the opposite is that you have the energy to go a Sunday-morning yoga class.
After yoga, my hostesses and I went out for a lovely brunch at a place called Precinct. After that, I hopped on the T and went to South Station to catch my train back to NYC. The trip was mellow and I finished a whole bunch of work, so that was nice. I have to admit, though, I was pretty tired by the time I got home.
Still, it was a nice trip. I don’t get away that often, but it’s always a nice treat to go back to Boston.
So about that “what I ate part…”
Breakfast: pre-yoga bowl of bran flakes w/ unsweetened coconut milk, blueberries, and dried cranberries
Lunch: black bean veggie burger w/ avocado; salad; blueberry wheat beer
Snack: (unpictured) apple and dry-roasted edamame while in transit
Dinner: Salad w/ random veggies and turkey; toast w/ cottage cheese & nutritional yeast
Snack: Sliced banana w/ chocolate PB2 sauce
Do you make random creations when you get back from a trip or just order in?
