I feel like the number 6 has been “following” me this year. I just feel like it comes up all the time. And what do you know, it’s my 66th What I Ate Wednesday. To be realistic, it was bound to happen eventually, but still! And the number 66 will always make me think of this song. This one too.
Monday morning involved a morning walk through the park as a commute. It was my first day at a new rotation (GI), and I found all the greenery helped calm my first-day jitters.
I also enjoyed some good food throughout the day. After almost passing out a couple weeks ago, I’ve been trying to pay more attention to keeping my energy up throughout the day. For better or worse, sometimes it takes something like that to put me back in touch with my needs. So far so good, though.
Snacks: baby carrots, dry-roasted edamame
