Happy Summer Solstice! Doing anything fun to mark the occasion? If you haven’t contacted me already about writing a guest post, I’d love to hear from you!
It also happens to be Wednesday, so you know what that means…another What I Ate Wednesday. As always, thanks to Jenn of Peas & Crayons for hosting the link party! Visit her site to see more WIAW from other bloggers!
You know what they say about all work and no play…I don’t know what it is with me, but I think I operate on a ratio basis with work and play. The more I have of one, the more I have of the other. I started a new rotation this week at a totally new site, which means getting used to both a different population and a different giant hospital. I totally admit to getting lost quite a bit the past few days.
Monday night, I was tired, but after my mom’s surgery and an intense first day at a new placement, I really needed some downtime. Unfortunately, I kind of suck at relaxing way home. The to-do list has a way of getting the better of me, especially on a weeknight. When my friend Anna asked if I wanted to meet up for a drink, I said yes, which is a bit out of character for me on a weeknight, but I’m so glad I did! There’s nothing like a little girl-talk to set you on the path to a good week.

Love the breakfast and snack. I’m just a sucker for yogurt and oats, I guess 🙂 Happy WIAW to you! 🙂
you & me both : )
Your dinner sounds awesome….I love smoked salmon! The addition of the avocado really makes it sound yummy!
Definitely worth trying!
Your dinner looks amazing – smoked salmon is one of my favorite treats!
Mine too-especially with avocado!
all of your eats look great and hooray for answering those hunger cues! I’ve been trying to prevent the hunger cues by eating every 2-3 hours but sometimes it’s hard when you’re just NOT hungry! but gaining (for me) means eating even if I’m not feeing those hunger pangs. I try not to wait because I stopped having those hunger pans for so long that now I try to answer them so my body knows it’s getting food and not go back into starvation mode!
