So, What I Ate Wednesday, we meet again. I’ve got another day of “what I ate”-ness for you this week. My hope is that this weekly check-in reminds you that dietitians are normal people too and not weird kale robots or whatever. Did any of you guys see this “Secret Life of a Dietitian” post the other day? It is the truth and it is awesome. Anyway, here’s what last Friday looked like, when I worked a 9-5 at the hospital.

Breakfast: I was all about savory oatmeal last week. Again. This had some babaganoush and tahini.

At work: Black coffee, a salad with grilled chicken—I realize I like this salad so much because it reminds me of airport food, which makes me think of vacation, which I could have really used last Friday. I also had an apple. While winding down in the late afternoon, I had a crumbled Fiber D’Lish bar with 2% plain Greek yogurt.

Dinner: I was craving comfort food (my version, anyway) so I made pan-seared scallops, which I ate with arugula salad and crostini with honey lavender goat cheese

Snacks: my phone ate the photos, but I enjoyed a sliced peach with ricotta—perfect on a summer evening.

What’s the best thing you’ve eaten recently?
