Happy Thursday! Hope you’re having a wonderful week.

I was talking recently about mid-year resolutions, and it’s still on my mind.

After posting my breakfast every day for almost a year, I started feeling like I was in a rut and since changing the way I eat in the morning (breakfast is the “you do you” meal, as far as I’m concerned) for the sake of social media variety sounded ridiculous, I had fun thinking of some other ways to continue to Keeping It Real Food tradition of sharing glimpses at real life.

soup salad snow day lunchAs my main mid-year goal, I’m making a point of eating lunch away from my desk on my work-from-home days. To help me get into the habit and keep myself accountable, until the end of the summer, I’m going to start posting my lunches to social media. If you want to join me, tag your photos with #LunchBreakChallenge

Another mid-year resolution? Take more morning walks. It’s only been about three weeks since I started doing this, but it’s already been a total game-changer. I’ve also been enjoying meeting with friends and colleagues for walking dates/meetings instead of catching up over drinks or coffee. Why have I not been doing this forever?

I saw this on one of my wanderings recently, and it was just the reminder I needed that day.

Do you take a lunch break? Would you ever change what you ate just to post something different on social media? Are there any habits you’re trying to get into?
