Happy Thursday! Hope you’re having a great week. I feel like it’s flying by—so many things…I’m going to keep this week’s dose of randomness short and sweet.
*Monday morning I just felt like I needed to hit the reset button, so I lit some incense. Growing up, my mom always burnt nag champa around the house, so it’s a very comforting smell to me.
*I was quoted in an article questioning whether or not skipping breakfast really leads to weight gain. I’m sure you can guess which camp I fall into…
*Speaking of breakfast, still on a savory oats kick. This one is very similar to my savory mushroom oat bowl on the Chex blog #BreakfastLikeAKing
*I have another post coming up with more details next week, but if you’ve got some time over the weekend, you might want to check out my post on What I Learned By Failing At Vegetarianism over on the Lady Project blog.
*Sometimes a gal’s just gotta buy herself some f***ing flowers.
This post has been part of another Running with Spoons Thinking Out Loud link party, where randomness is the name of the game. Thanks to Amanda for hosting.

Wow, your savory oats look amazing! So healthy! I def need to give savory oats a try… but I just love sweets at breakfast… like today, fresh fruit and “almondy oats”- oatmeal with raw almond butter and a drizzle of honey! 🙂
Sounds great! I never used to like savory breakfast, and then a few years ago, I started craving it. It’s officially become one of my weird-but-good go-to meals.
I feel like I don’t buy myself enough flowers… But whenever I go to look at them, they’re soooo crazy expensive that I just can’t justify paying that much for something that’ll die. So I buy chocolate instead 😆
I <3 buying flowers. :))) They just add that extra splash of color to the room.
