Happy Thursday! In lieu of today’s regular randomness post, I wanted to share this wonderful post by my friend Rachel over at Buzzfeed.
11 Charts for When You Feel Bad About Your Body
Body image is something almost all women struggle with (hello social media compare-a-thon vortex), and yet it’s completely taboo to talk about in most settings! Major props to Rachel for creating this and putting it out into the world.

Do you ever struggle with negative body image? What helps you deal when you’re feeling bummed about your appearance?
This post has been part of another Running with Spoons Thinking Out Loud link party, where randomness is the name of the game. Thanks to Amanda for hosting.

Oh now that’s just great. There are definitely days where I’m feeling a little worse about myself than others, but I try to keep busy with other things and take the focus off myself. After all, life is about way more than just how our clothes fit or how our hair happens to look that day.
Cheers to that! I always try to remind myself that however I’m feeling, most people are probably too much in their own head with their own stuff to notice.
I definitely have trouble with a negative body image, especially now that I’ve been having trouble working out and losing weight. I love that chart!
Love this, Jessica! We need more of these positive messages in a world where beauty products and cosmetic procedures are a huge industry that markets products by making you feel bad about your appearance so that you feel like you need to ‘fix’ yourself. Not everyone is supposed to have huge lips, big boobs, a small nose and no cellulite. We’re all unique and beautiful in our own way. Sad that we don’t see it as much as others do.
Totally agree, Justine!
