The other night, I went on another Restaurant Week adventure and checked out Burke & Wills on the Upper West Side with some of my old dietetic intern friends. It was great to try some delicious food and catch up on each other’s lives.

Oh, and did I mention the food was great?

For my starter, I had the grilled watermelon salad. Watermelon salad

We all ordered the salmon for our main dish. It was cooked to perfection. Loved it. Burke & Wills salmon

And dessert…this affogato (complete with brownie sticks) was out of this world. I now am wracking my brain for a way to make a breakfast-appropriate version for breakfast. Maybe pouring espresso over banana soft serve and a breakfast cookie of sorts? Regardless, this was f—ing awesome. affogato

Similar to my experience at the Atlantic Grill last week, the portion sizes were perfect—satisfying and indulgent without being excessive. Makes my little dietitian heart very happy.
