Today was my first foray out into the world since Tuesday (though I did go see my doctor Wednesday). I can’t remember the last time I was sick enough to actually want to stay in bed. I have some antibiotics to take along with Nyquil and Dayquil. Normally, I prefer not to take anything at all aside from a little ibuprofen, but sinus and ear infections are not fun. One small perk of being sick, though, is that you get to wear ridiculous sweaters you’d never wear otherwise, just because they’re warm.
Between things today, I had time for some ramen with my sister. It was basically everything I could have asked for and more. Vegetable gyoza followed by vegetarian miso ramen with an egg on top.
Even though we’re not twins, my sister and I have some shared-brain-wave thing going on. For example, when I met up with her today, I had just lost my hat and was kind of stressing out about it. Go figure, she just happened to have bought me a hat for Christmas a few hours earlier and had it in her purse. Love when that happens.
Well, back into bed with my Biochem book. Have a great Friday.

I am clearly uneducated in terms of Asian cuisine because I thought you meant like…..ramen noodles. And I was like, I really can’t picture Jess eating ramen noodles regardless of how sick she may be…..
Hah! I was feeling so crappy the other night, if I’d had ramen noodles, I probably would have made that and called it a night—luckily, I found some fancy-pants organic split pea soup in the cupboard instead.
My mom used to make us ramen noodles all the time when we were little. I remember eating that with tuna sandwiches a lot. Looking back, it’s probably because it was so cheap, but I always thought it was really tasty : )
i LOVE ramen! ther is a place nearby where I always get the best noodle ramen!
