It’s been a while (aka a few days) since I commented on how crazy it is that I’m graduating my dietetic internship soon, but well—wow! Yesterday was our graduation brunch. One of the interns hosted at her beautiful home, and everybody brought something.
This is just a small representation of the awesomeness we enjoyed.
It was a wonderful afternoon full of reminiscing and plenty of laughing. It’s pretty amazing that this time last year, I had no idea I was about to meet such wonderful people. They’re a huge part of why I’ve been able to remain grateful even on the roughest of days. Don’t you kind of love how that works? I made a mental note to remember that next time I start worrying about the future—more important than the things we stress about, the Great Unknown also brings great things our way.
What are some of the great, unexpected things and people you’ve encountered?

I am so unbelievably happy and excited for you, being so close to the finish line! In 6 months time I’ll be in your shoes and cannot wait. The brunch looks fabulous, you guys definitely earned it!!
Thanks! Those 6 months are going to fly for you…
I feel the same about my grad school friends. I hated leaving Chicago to come to Minneapolis for school, but every once in a while I just sit back and realize what amazing friendships I’ve made since I’ve been here, and feel all warm and fuzzy.
Congratulations on being so close!
Thanks!
