I spent the day out with my mom and sister in New Jersey crossing annual doctors’ appointments and some errands off the list. It was nice to get so much done! Of course, now I have to spend the rest  of my weekend on less-fun school stuff, but the good vibes will hopefully make for easy going.

I do have to say, though, the assignment I am working on this evening is pretty weird—calculating your lover’s tube feed is about as morbid as it gets!

Speaking of…Chris  made an awesome dinner tonight that was pretty much ready to go as soon as I walked in the door. Talk about a good surprise! His sesame tofu was better than what I’ve had in most restaurants, and the toasted sesame seeds on top were a nice touch. It was perfect with steamed broccoli and brown rice.

In a little while, I’m going to take a break to unpack some of the kick-ass Pyrex stuff my mom gave me for my birthday. I’ve been wanting new cookware for some time now, and I love Pyrex. I’m also psyched about the new Crock-Pot. I am officially old but I totally don’t care.
