This week marks the beginning of New Years Resolution Season. To help folks keep their “eat better” and “exercise more” pledges for 2016, there are tons of fitness trackers and weight loss apps. Hell, I’m even a coach on one (Hi, Rise peeps!). Though these tools can be a great addition and help you note your progress and identify barriers—and remind you when you need to pat yourself on the back for all your hard work. Creating a username is just the first step, though. There are a few different things to keep in mind when you start logging.
