Happy New Year! I am so excited about 2019. As I was talking about last week, I’m so ready to move forward in a positive direction and am overjoyed to have made it through 2018. If you follow me on social media, then you may have seen my posts about how excited I am for 2019. It feels good to put strong, positive intentions into a new year. In years past, I’ve made a bunch of resolutions and chosen a word for the year (in 2018 it was FUN—I knew it was going to be a hard year ahead and wanted to bring some lightness into my day-to-day). I’m taking a different approach this time around with my goal-setting.
I’m a big believer in goals that are SMART AF, but I don’t think they need to be calendar-driven in order to be meaningful. As for that magic word, I don’t know what it is yet, and I feel good about trusting that I’ll know when it’s right. Something I’ve done a lot of work on in the past 18 months is letting myself be more open to possibilities and to dream bigger. If I’d known what a game-changer it would be, I’d have invested that energy sooner! Of course, there is something to be said for timing.
While I’m not setting an official New Year’s Resolution for 2019 I’ve been working hard behind the scenes and I have some exciting stuff to share in the weeks and months ahead. Next week I’m kicking off a series of blog posts to help you reach your goals and feel great this year, and I’ll be making a big-ass announcement on January 21, so stay tuned!
