I make chickpea hummus pretty often, but sometimes it’s good to branch out a little. This black bean hummus is super-easy to make and tastes great. I love when I try something new and not only manage to not f*ck it up, but am happy with the results.
Ingredients (for a double-batch)
- 2 15-oz cans black beans, rinsed
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 cloves of garlic
- juice of one lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- pepper to taste
Directions
- Blend ingredients until smooth.
I’ve been wanting to try some other hummus variations lately. Anyone ever have any luck with chocolate hummus? I’m insanely curious.
