Confession: I didn’t know if I would have time to do a gift guide this year. In the past, I’ve done multiple versions each year, but I’m keeping it super simple this time around and sharing some of my very favorite self-care goodies that make great last-minute gifts for your loved ones — or yourself!

Enjoy perusing the suggestions below. I hope you find ways to care for your mind, body and soul, and take time to relax and enjoy the special moments of this season!

Food and Drinks

Healthy, delicious food is a great form of self-care that’s totally shareable with family and friends alike, Here are some of my favorite food and beverage gifts.

Especially during this busy time of year, I love the idea of food prep and cooking made simple, which is why food and meal kit delivery services like ButcherBox (a meat delivery service), Misfits Market and Bad Apple Produce (services designed to reduce food waste by delivering imperfect-looking, but great tasting produce to your door), Sun Basket , HelloFresh (a meal kit service) and Green Chef (delivering a variety of easy-to-follow meal plans for every lifestyle) are wonderful additions to your life. These services simplify things in the kitchen, while still allowing you to eat nutritious and healthy meals.

For the wine-lovers in your life, try Scout & Cellar. I’m a big fan of organic wines and was so excited when I found out about their mission to share clean-crafter wine, I decided to become a consultant myself. I have a whole online shop where you guys can score delicious wine at great prices and adorable holiday gift sets.

On the non-alcoholic front, there’s a whole world of beautiful coffee and tea to explore. I always scoop up some of the beautifully packaged tea and coffee sets at Trader Joe’s. I’m also obsessed with Four Sigmatic Mushroom coffee and love to use the little packets as stocking stuffers. The one with chaga and lion’s mane is my favorite.

Another beautiful idea is this cacao tea that makes the perfect pick-me up, and despite its rich cacao flavor has no added sugar.

I’m also a big fan of Bulletproof products—so much so that I became an ambassador. I love their ground coffee and k-cup pods. For that person in your life who likes to stay well-fueled on the run, a box of the single-serve containers of collagen powder and Bulletproof cold brew are the perfect gift. Enjoy a 10% discount code when you enter FRIEND10 at checkout.

Beauty

Your body and skin care routines play a big part in your overall well-being, which is why I encourage you to treat yourself to something special! I have been gradually cleaning up my beauty act the past year and swapping in more ton-toxic products to my routine.

High-quality, non-toxic beauty products are so worth it and can help someone feel pampered while they do something to protect their health and the planet. I’m obsessed with Crunchi’s skincare products—the day and night moisturizers and sunscreen have been game-changers for my skin..I’m also a big fan of natural beauty lines that offer cruelty free, clean beauty products. Winky Lux Cosmetics has lots of fun colors and adorable packaging and gift sets, and Beauty Counter has tons of high-quality skincare and beauty options for a clean, classic look.

For that fitness enthusiast in your life, Busy Beauty Wipes body wipes, are a great stocking stuffer. They come in great scents but are still gentle yet effective.

If you want to treat yourself or a loved one to a surprise each month, a subscription to Birchbox or a similar beauty sample delivery services can be fun!

If a picture-perfect smile is on your or your loved one’s wish list, check out Smile Direct Club for information on booking a consult for aligners or purchasing whitening treatments.

Fitness

Exercise is one of my favorite forms of self-care and for good reason—it’s as good for the mind as it is for the body, especially during times of stress. There are lots of great fitness-themed gifts. How about a gift card with which to buy a class pass or a studio membership? A subscription to a streaming workout service or app (my clients love the SWEAT app) can also make it easy and fun to stay active from practically anywhere. So many popular fitness studios now offer on demand classes that allow you to work out from anywhere. Ask what kind of workout classes they’re into or interested in trying outy. You can also purchase things like workout clothes and accessories, sneakers, or other fitness gear you know they need and want. Maybe that fancy yoga mat or water bottle they would never buy themselves?

Pampering

Treating yourself to some TLC every once in a while is a great way to reduce your level of stress! Spoil or be spoiled  with a gift card to a favorite spa or salon. Even a fluffy robe and set of comfy slippers to wear around the house can make the average day feel extra rejuvenating.

A solid night of sleep is the ultimate in self-care, and a gift to enhance someone’s sleep routine is a great way to say  “I love you.” Weighted blankets have become more popular over the last few years, and they really work. The benefit is thought to be related to that gentle pressure therapy, which helps stimulate the release of a feel-good brain chemical called oxytocin. It’s similar to a hug, but in blanket form. I received one from Bearaby as a gift when they launched but there are tons of others on the market at all different price points.

Other Stuff

There are so many miscellaneous items that can fit into someone self-care toolbox and make excellent gifts. One of my favorite combinations is a great-looking journal and pen that remind you of that person. Journaling can be a wonderful stress-relieving outlet and a writing your thoughts allows for reflection you might not otherwise make time for.

I also really love the idea of gifting a small crystal — a rose quartz in the shape of a heart is really sweet – or an energy clearing kit like the one from Spitfire Girl my sister gave me for Christmas last year. Other fun options are tarot decks or other oracle cards; my favorite tarot deck is the Wild Unknown, and when it comes to oracle cards, I love the Doreen Virtue Angel cards. I’ve also been eyeing the Super Attractor deck that goes along with Gabby Bernstein’s new book (which I still haven’t read but have high on my list).

If you have an audio book lover in your life, a subscription to Audible might be the perfect gift for them. For an e-reading fanatic, how about a new Kindle or accessories or an Amazon gift card so they can buy their favorite books?. Other great options include a subscription to meditation apps like Simple Habit or Headspace.

Happy gifting, friends and warm wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season!
